About Vernon Cresswell – Keynote Speaker
Vernon Cresswell (B Com LLB H Dip Tax and Company Law) is well-known and respected in the Financial Services Industry. His regular column – “Smart Money” – ran in the Sunday Times newspaper for over a decade and was always considered to be topical and interesting.
Vernon has enjoyed an illustrious career in the Financial Services and Wealth Management Industries. Gaining valuable experience in business, he and a few colleagues built their own Wealth/Financial planning practice, which was later sold to a large corporate. More recently, he and his team successfully established a Private Bank for a major bank in South Africa.
Applying lessons of nature
Vernon is an entrepreneur – a highly successful businessman who is now a professional speaker, focusing specifically on applying the lessons we find in nature to our everyday business and personal lives. Vernon’s keen interest in nature has resulted in him successfully completing a number of nature related qualifications, including FGASA Level 3 Trails Guide. Recently, Vernon was voted “Best Newcomer” at the 2007 Speaker of the Year awards.
